Update: Microtransat Races over and Judges are Convening

On Monday, autonomous sailboats set sail (literally) in the 2007 Microtransat Challenge. I wrote about it a few days ago.
I just received an update from Colin Sauze who responded to an email I sent to the Microtransat inquiries address.

The races have all finished now and we are currently awating the judges
decision. Two of the contestants kept sailing overnight (University of
Wales, Aberystwyth and INNOC). Unfortunately there is a problem with our
tracking web page and live maps aren’t currently available altough the
raw data has been stored and i’ll get some maps online at some point soon.

Colin is referring to a final phase of the competition where the robots have an opportunity to impress the judges with a 24-hour performance.
