Geeks of Doom highlighted the new EM-208 Humanoid Droid from the RoboCop remake. The new robot looks neat and I’m looking forward to see how it fits into the new story. Generally, I’m also nervous to see what they do with the movie. It didn’t seem like a flick that needed to be remade, and the original still feels fresh and relevant when I watch it. My biggest fear for the new movie is that they’re going to cut out the political and philosophical underpinnings of the original movie in favor of a big-blast action/adventure type of flick.
Nonetheless, the producers have been mum about the progress of RoboCop, so this is still a little bit of a treat.
